- September Dhamma Course
The Buddhist Discussion Centre Australia presents Dhamma teachings and meditations on The Heart Sutra. The Heart Sutra is one of the most important wisdom Teachings in the Mahayana tradition.
Our September course will give students a clear understanding and appreciation of its significance and benefit to practitioners on the Buddhist Path. The course is free of charge and will be held from the 27th of September 2017 to the 1st of October 2017.

- 40th Anniversary Celebrations
The Buddhist Discussion Centre Australia was founded on the 9th of September 1978.
On the 9th of September 2018 we will celebrate our 40th Anniversary and 40 years of Buddhist Learning and practice at the same location - 33 Brooking Street, Upwey, Victoria. Many projects and activities are planned during the next 12 months in celebration of this milestone including the construction of a new Asian style temple building and offering lunch to 40 Buddhist Monks and Nuns.

- Bringing Wisdom to Life
The Buddhist Discussion Centre Australia presents a course over 3 terms to examine and consider the remarkable story of Buddhism.
Students study the history of Buddhism, the basic teachings and the preliminary practices of each major Buddhist tradition to be able to understand, appreciate and participate in Buddhism as it is in our world today.
