  • Two Day Practice Retreat
  • The Buddhist Discussion Centre Australia is conducting a Two Day Practice Retreat on the Queens Birthday long weekend Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of June 2018 at 33 Brooking Street Upwey.

    The retreat will include Buddhist chanting and meditation, Dhamma Teachings, mindfulness practice and meritorious action.

  • 40th Anniversary Celebrations
  • The Buddhist Discussion Centre Australia was founded on the 9th of September 1978.

    On the 9th of September 2018 we will celebrate our 40th Anniversary and 40 years of Buddhist Learning and practice at the same location - 33 Brooking Street, Upwey, Victoria. Many projects and activities are planned during the next 12 months in celebration of this milestone including the construction of a new Asian style temple building and offering lunch to 40 Buddhist Monks and Nuns.
