Honourable Sir and Madam,

Namo Buddha, Namo Amitabha

I request you to kindly call for my letter dated 18 April 2002 wherein, I have invited you here just to spend a few days in peaceful and for visiting "Viharas" built in association with Sri Lanka, Japan, england, Taiwan etc. and advise us, guide us for more effective works in spreading Buddhism here. This is my standing invitation and may please be accepted as and when you desire please.

Please accept our best wishes for you all, your long life, good health and happiness. Our national efforts to spread the Buddhism here is in progress, but now we are in short of sources required in this process. The books, audio cassettes, VHS tapes, Cds, photos, calendars and other useful materials if you have, may please be sent. I am aware and I appreciated your dedication in Buddhism and your activities are worth praising, in which I would like to be included as a volunteer.

At present I am engaged in two projects which our organisation runs in addition to the above Dhamma activities.

I Welfare activities for the Street Children of poor Buddhist people in our areas. These children below 14 years of age live on the streets or pavements and work in street trades, manual jobs and work in way side shops and face destitution, neglect, abuse and exploitation. They require integrated community based basic services, for their care, protection, development, Dhamma education and other activities which will be focussed on reduction of exploitation, abuse and withdrawal from hazardous work.

II Eradication of Malnutrition

Due to the malnutrition many children below 6 years of age expire on an average of 5 to 10 per month. The causes for such deaths are poverty, non-availability of health services, superstition, inadequate knowledge, awareness, uncleanliness, dirty drinking water, less age of mother, less distance betwee4n two children etc. etc. They require immediate attention and this organisation is engaged in providing necessary facilities for malnutrition eradication.

This organisation is supported entirely by generous donations from members, friends and well-wishers for Dhamma and social activities. We earnestly request you and your group for your kind donation, both materials and finance for such activities and your all offerings will be appreciated and we will be grateful for such offerings, as the gifts to Dhamma and other social activities excel all others and we sincerely hope that we will reach to our goal of helping people reach Buddhahood through our religious, social welfare activities with the cooperation of people like you.

Thanks for your blessings and kind words of encouragement. May the Triple Gem continue to bless you all.

Homage to the Buddha

Homage to the Buddha

Homage to the Buddha

Yours in the Dhamma
